DJPVMA draws inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, blending progressive house, trance, deep techno, and high-energy electronic beats into a signature sound that moves dance floors worldwide.
At 18, PVMA discovered classic rave tracks while hitting the best dance parties in Colorado Springs. That foundation grew stronger after moving to Las Vegas, where he immersed himself in the city's vibrant club and rave scene.
In 2008, while working at Almaza Ultra Lounge in Silverado Ranch, PVMA learned directly from top local DJs. Thursdays brought high-energy Latin mixes from DJ De La O, who consistently packed the dance floor with the hottest tracks.
Fridays belonged to DJ Fuzion, the first electronic DJ PVMA saw live. His polished setup and fearless style left a lasting impression. The defining moment came during a high-impact Put Your Stunner Shades On mashup in the middle of his set — the entire room stopped to watch and feel the energy. That performance shaped how PVMA approaches reading and lighting up a crowd.
PVMA draws from mainstream legends like David Guetta, Avicii, and Calvin Harris — the only one he's seen live, performing at the MGM Grand during the MAGIC clothing convention in 2015. Additional influence comes from producers Timbaland, Trent Reznor, Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, and the Latin energy of Daddy Yankee and Pitbull.
These artists taught him how to deliver driving, unforgettable energy across every set, whether in an intimate club, livestream, or festival environment.
More recently, livestream DJs like DJ Fibretek, PSYMILL, BLK DRVGON, and many others inspired PVMA to take his career seriously. Discovering them through Final Fantasy XIV house parties showed the power of reaching audiences from anywhere — turning short-lived club nights into evergreen livestream replays.
PVMA continues to honor these influences while carving out his own path. Gratitude for the past keeps the journey grounded as the sound evolves.
